No there was a point of clarification in my last reply.

Music isn’t music unless your ears bleed, UNLESS its that new romantic stuff from the 80’s.

okay - just a quick clarification and don't get me wrong - I'm a true fan of the new romantics and love the Duranies and the Spandaus... but I'm not sure either band could be accused of being 'harder, edgier, nastier' unless we are describing the makeup room carry-ons before they minced on to stage.

The Chinese censored Womack and Womack? Maybe they're not all that bad...

Yes you're right Saturday, I do like my music a little harder, edgier, nastier, with that cyberpunk undertone, although The Undertones themselves weren't that bad. Music isn't music unless your ears bleed, unless its that new romantic stuff from the 80's. I love me some early Duran Duran or Spandau Ballet.

just as an interesting sidenote - as some Voodoonistas know, I am currently working out of Hong Kong and I have just come across an odd little regional thing. Having read the Creatures comment, I thought I should reflect on my song choice with another viewing - and it wouldn't load due to this country's copyright restrictions. Odd. So of course I've embedded it again and it runs a treat. Strange. Oh... and I still like the song but I can't take the clip seriously - a product of the 1980's without question. I suspect the Creature likes his music with a bit more of a naaaas-sty edge to it. Daft Punk or some other electro-punk outfit with serious Cyberpunk undertones... bet he also wears boxer shorts 'cause that's how he rolls. Meanwhile Midnight is still groovin' to some swamprock outfit out in the everglades with his pet 'gator Chompchomp.

hmmmm, hate to say it but I really never liked this song, it just sounded so, insipid. Then again I was never a fan of those 'couples' songs of the 80's, Ashford & Simpson, Rufus & Chaka Khan. Kinda thought they were limp.

And as for those sunglasses, sorry, but I just can't get past the similarity to Stevie Wonder. Now there's an amazing talent.
