‘Everyone knows you can’t displace facebook’ so says the dudes from Heck Productions who have posted this musical tribute to…well facebook… umm Dawg… and uh most def’ and uhhh whack!
…with the package.
Man this is what happens when you try to watch all five seasons of The Wire every night for the past week… still, what a sensational show.
This video attracts a NSFW language warning for those that are sensitive desert flowers at heart. This includes Midnight’s Ma… Step back Mrs Midnight… it is for the best you move on from this post to another more Midnightish post.
I liked it. A guilty pleasure sure.
The thing is…. I’m not a huge fan of facebook but I use it.
It’s kinda handy in that I can keep in touch or ‘tabs’ on an extended network of pals, mates and family without actually having to engage them directly. Having said that, sometimes it’s kinda creepy as I find myself drawn into looking at people’s photo albums and commenting on their interests and activities without any real care or concern other than a passing curiosity.
From time to time I work overseas. Currently I have a time zone difference… it’s not something I like to talk about… but it’s these times that I use facbeook much more than normal… you know… maintaining some sort of contact with those back in the motherland.
Characters like ‘Lisa the Wrabbit’ -pretty as hell and a star trecking cybergeek. her galpal is also a personal fav’. Sandilicious. She is also an occasional Voodoonista and her dry wit never fails to crack me up or for that matter Midnight… and he’s a tough one to crack. But when I’m back in Oz – facebook… not so much.
Now I know for a fact that Midnight just looooooooooves the facebook. He is a whack dawg with the book uhuh.
And the Creature…. well I suspect he has discovered, as I have, how tempting and dangerous the time eating vortex that is facebook online games can be. I am currenttly goign cold turkey on all these games Creatures temps me into playing. Games like mafia wars, knights of the round table, a massive space empire game and the list goes on. He even developed a martial arts one… now that’s… um… commitment.
And don’t get me started on twitter? What is THAT all about?

Trying to go cold turkey on all those tempting games right now, seem to be suckered into World of Warcraft far too often. Oh for a Dark future MMO, or at least http://www.swtor.com/ which is destined to become far too easily lost in.
We really do need to create a smuggling ring once this goes live….
I don’t get Twitter. It’s like, just one aspect of Facebook, but it won’t leave you alone. Maybe someone else can explain the attraction?
You should touch base with the Wrabbit – as part of her masters coursework she is doing a piece on Twitter as the magic silver bullet for teaching. Not so sure myself… it kinda smacks of being a bit of a fad… I mean really, how much can you really say in 140 words when… sod run out of word allowa..
