It is bloody handy when you want a quick entertainment fix or your just hankering to see an old music clip video… or a commercial… I can’t explain it but the vintage ‘Green Giant’ ads fascinate and frighten me in equal measure.

There is certainly some real rubbish on YouTube… I guess that’s the downside of the democratic nature of the portal, you shot it you upload it.

Same with the world wide web in general, slowly being blogged to death (yeah we’re guilty) but that’s okay – the gems are always revealed eventually… and the following clip is a chunk of coal placed under extreme pressure.

The following clip is one in a series of cool ‘mash-ups’ where the soundtrack from the hit series of ‘Friends’ is meshed with the antics of an animated Super Heroes.

This particular webisode is one of my fav’s – the great quiz challenge between Chandler as ‘Flash’ with ‘Batman’ against ‘Wonder Woman’ Monica and ‘Robin’. ‘Ross’ as the superman-referee as a clean flat and an absent duck are at stake!

Seriously – what did Chandler ‘Bing’ do for a lviing before he moved to advertising?

Joey is disturbingly perfect as Batman.

And more disturbing on so many levels is Jenifer Ainsiton as Robin… Robin… seems… kinda …cute… now. I’d rather not talk about it.
