While I’m thinking out loud, I have to say I have a fascination with movies where the entire plot is effectively summarised by the title. I was thinking about this the other day after seeing an ad for the obviously family-frolicsome-gigglefest of Drag Me To Hell, which I assume is pretty much about someone (or possibly several someones) being dragged to hell. Same thing goes for such classic horror flicks as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (people get massacred in Texas with a chain saw) and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (bodies get snatched during an invasion). I’m sure this happens outside the horror genre as well — can anyone else think of other examples?
