Huey Lewis and the News playing at the State Fair in Oregan. Ok ok – what is a state fair? Is it a bad thing or just a ‘thing’ that Huey is playing at the fair? And what exactly is a corn dog? Is it like a Dagwood dog with a battered sausage on a stick… dipped in tomato sauce… but with corn somehow involved… like maybe in the sausage… Is Huey paid with Corn Dogs? Possibly maybe. Oddly.. corn.. music…I am thinking Hugh Grant in ‘Music & Lyrics’ …and Drew hurhur… but more so in Charlies Angels. (Darren Saturday | 1 Comment)
County Fair, which is one step below a State Fair. Oregon has about 20 counties with Douglas County being the biggest. And yes that’s exactly what a corn dog is – a dagwood dog. Say, does dagwood have anything to do with daggy or the character from Blondie? I read that in Scooby Doo, Shaggy and Scooby are always making sandwiches that over here are called Dagwood sandwiches, does that make Scooby Doo a dagwood dog?
I would assume that Huey is paid with the real stuff and not fast food full of additives, although maybe the preservatives in fast food are what keep him going (he must be in his 60′s). So yes it’s possible.
