It must be a slow news day. The current affairs shows have reached deep into their in case of emergency programming and are all airing ‘shocking’ exposes on the dangers of everything in our grocery shopping cart. Colouring and flavours are gonna kill us.. but our food will taste better and be visually more appealing. But the real badass is preservative 202. From what I can tell, if it comes in a box, a packet, a can and won’t rot within the day – it is fulla 202. Apparently come the next war to end all wars it’ll be the 202 that keeps us fed… despite the fact that 202 is slowly killing us all. But isn’t that the essence of life? We are all slowly dying of old age at the very least. I reckon if 202 can keep a can of foodstuffs preserved in an edible condition for an extra two years more than it’s normal shelf life then maybe we should be looking at gulping down added 202 and extend our own lives. Just sayin’ (Darren Saturday | 2 Comments)

You are a freakin silly bugger i telly ya, it will slowly kill you that preservative 202, it is so sad that so many people dont realise how bad packet food and can food is for you.
Us consumers tend to look at the back of food products to only look at the so caled goos stuff that the food contains yet we fail to realise that the foods we are eating that are thought to be good for us is actually full of body killing ingredients.
The way i see it is if a can of food or packet food etc contains more then 5 ingredients or in other words a big list of ingredients it is then seriously bad for you.
We were never meant to eat food this way, it sucks ya know because the food industry knows this yet they wont say anything because they are pulling in the profits big time why we slowly die.
It’s fucked up man seriously fucked up……..
now that you put it like that ‘Awesome Ann’ – your right. In fact nothing disturbs me more than looking at the ingredients of a product that I thought was ‘food’ and discovering that it in fact a collection of chemicals somehow bound together and shrink wrapped. If you do a quick audit on what you have or do eat in a week – the results can be disturbing… not much food but lots and lots of chemically enhanced items that have had the living bejesus processed out of them. Nummy.
