The Creature said:

This is amazing, I think you’ve cracked it Midnight….

Right right... once you're hip to Twelve, you start seeing it everywhere.

What are the first two prime numbers? 1 and 2. "12"... is Twelve!

Another interesting prime number is 13 {Allegedly unlucky for some.}. 13 is... a Baker's Dozen!

How many days in a week if you don't like your job? Figuring each workday feels twice as long as a weekend day, that makes... Twelve!

Even Douglas Adams was onto it. He claimed that the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything is 42. 6 x 7 = 42. 6 + 7 is... a Baker's Dozen again!

Seriously, it's all about Twelve.

I must go and close out the current Slugfest. I don't think it prompted the best effort from the Voodoonista, for some reason.

See, now you’re setting guidelines. you didn’t implement those at first so we were led merrily down the garden path before you brought us back again. Maybe you need to post the rules and regulations by which we need to offer suggestions or I might just nominate Barry again.

I don't see these as much as being 'guidelines', as I see them as being 'incontrovertable rules, the transgression against which will result in hideous punishment, such as can only be achieved with two paper clips, a passport-sized photo of Benito Mussolini, and a roll of dental floss'.

Actually, the only real guideline in play is that I'd like it to be something a little unusual / not run-of-the-mill, which is why I originally rejected Barry.

The judges were forced to give Trevor extra points for Technical Difficulty (because he was a plant), but he still found himself cut from the final round due to another controversial interpretation of the tango.

I think Shark Fin Soup is a good name. what it has to do with bamboo I have no idea but it sounds Oriental.

Stark Raving is absolutely right, I do have a potplant (this one is at home) called Genghis Little. It's a small cactus-type-thing of some description, and is immensely patient with all of my foibles and evident character flaws {At least, I think it is... I haven't heard it say otherwise.}.

Barry was one of the names that leapt to my mind for my Lucky Bamboo plant as well, but then so did Trevor and Silent Sentinel Twelve {As Stark Raving is already aware, Twelve is the answer to everything.}, so obviously my input can't be trusted.

I do think I'm looking for something a little more exotic for the Lucky Bamboo plant, something perhaps with an Asian flavour, and no I'm not going to call it Mongolian Beef.
