A little. It would seem that we've all paid way too much tax as we have a $21 billion dollar surplus... and factoring into account the new governments razor gang work... it amounts to a whopping $40 billion dollars-ish. Now my position on these things is that their should never be a surplus as its the citizens money and it should be spent on infrastructure and so on... and it freaks me out to type this but the government kinda agrees so they have whacked the entire amount into three different 'future' funds for use solely in health, education, roads, broadband... bloody hell. I am impressed. I am serious here - this is really impressive and makes an old digger a very very pleased cobber indeed... not sure where that came from...
