“Behave, or I’ll eat this very yummy chocolate!” is, for some reason, a much more believable threat than, “Behave, or I’ll sink Kazakhstan into the Bering Straight!”. Do you think maybe it’s because Kazakhstan isn’t actually anywhere near The Bering Straight, or maybe because people suspect you’re just looking for a reason to eat the chocolate anyway?
